Founded in 2023 by Meg Caldwell, Manly Women’s Wellness is dedicated to creating an inclusive space for women to connect through wellness-focused events. After moving to Sydney from Ireland in 2017, Meg recognised the challenges adults face in forming new friendships, especially in today’s remote work environment.
With a lifelong passion for health and fitness, Meg spent over six years studying science at university and more than a decade in the pharmaceutical industry. She discovered her true calling lay in prevention rather than treatment and, at 29, embraced this passion by becoming a certified personal trainer. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she also pursued her certification to become an MNU-certified nutritionist.
Together with her close friend Sophia, who is also an expat and shares her vision, they run Manly Women’s Wellness. They organise and host a variety of engaging wellness events, maintain an active Instagram community, and produce a monthly newsletter with over 400 subscribers - all aimed at promoting women’s wellness and fostering community connections. By collaborating with local health and wellness experts, they create opportunities for growth and learning, empowering women in their community to be the best versions of themselves - physically and emotionally.
